They credit Keeper of the Wild Wildlife Rescue and Sanctuary, a federally recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit, with taking care of the fox.

Keeper of the Wild operates out of Walterboro and specializes in caring for wildlife that has fallen ill, injured, has been orphaned or displaced and returns them to their natural habitats in the wild.

The fox cub will receive treatment and be rehabilitated.
