The film is expected to continue its success until the arrival of Christmas releases, Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and Prabhas’ Salaar, in the coming weeks.

With no releases to push the Animal juggernaut aside, the film is unlikely to lose momentum in the weeks to come. Trade analysts think Animal profits would touch Rs 500 crore before the two Christmas releases Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki and Prabhas’ Salaar hit the screen.

Opines trade expert Atul Mohan, “The prospects of Animal entering the Rs 500-crore club look promising, contingent on maintaining its momentum until the arrival of Dunki and Salaar. The film’s impressive performance on the 9th and 10th days is noteworthy, with an additional 11 days before Dunki takes the stage. Animal has already surpassed the 7-day collections of Gadar 2 by a substantial margin, crossing the 300-crore mark after the 7th day. In comparison to Jawaan and Pathaan, Animal is trailing by just 8-9 per cent after the first week of business for both films. The unfolding scenario is worth keeping an eye on.”
Says trade expert and producer Girish Johar, “As we move into the second weekend … this Animal has gone crazy at the Box Office. As we speak the film is surging ahead of Jailer and Leo…setting its eyes now on Gadar then Pathaan. The way the film is being lapped up by the audiences soon it will be eyeing Jawaan too. Furthermore, not only the domestic box office but records are being set in Overseas market too. More than $10M in North America alone in just eight days …also highest for an “A” film ever. The only speed breaker now we can see is Dunki and Salaar releases. Pretty sure the Rs 500-crore reach is on the cards, the film has gone BALLISTIC.”
