Williamson County Animal Center closed through July 3 due to power outage | News

Williamson County Animal Center (WCAC) is closed Saturday, July 1 due to a power outage caused by last night’s storms.  All animals are being cared for by staff and volunteers.  Until power and phone lines are restored, citizens should call (629) 235-6477 to report lost/stray animals or otherwise contact animal control officers.

WCAC is scheduled to reopen at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 3 and will close again Tuesday, July 4 for Independence Day.  The center offered discounted adoption fees to approved adopters on July 1 as part of the Best Friends Animal Society Adoption Weekend; WCAC will honor the $25 discount on July 3.  Kittens, adult cats, and adult dogs are available for $25 each, puppies for $60.

For other concerns, please visit www.adoptwcac.org and use the “Contact Us” option to email the appropriate staff member.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
