‘Dunki’ and ‘Salaar’

After the super success of ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to take the audience on a thrilling ride of entertainment with his third release of the year, ‘Dunki’. This is the first time SRK will be collaborating with Rajkumar Hirani for the film. It is all set to release on December 22, 2023. Now, locking horns with the Baadshah of Bollywood is South superstar Prabhas who is all set to release his film, ‘Salaar’ on the same date. ‘Animal’ and ‘Sam Bahadur’

After successfully avoiding the big clash with Sunny Deol starrer ‘Gadar 2’ and Akshay Kumar starrer ‘OMG 2’, the makers of Ranbir Kapoor’s upcoming film, ‘Animal’ rescheduled the release date to December 1. However, they will still be locking horns with Vicky Kaushal starrer ‘Sam Bahadur’ which is also releasing on the same date this year. While ‘Animal’ is directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Meghna Gulzar has helmed ‘Sam Bahadur’. Both are some of the most anticipated films in Bollywood and it would be interesting to see which one succeeds in entertaining the audience.

‘Yodha’ and ‘Merry Christmas’

Katrina Kaif and Sidharth Malhotra won hearts with their onscreen chemistry in ‘Baar Baar Dekho’. Now, they are all set to lock horns at the box office. Sidharth starrer ‘Yodha’ is all set to hit the theatres on December 15 and so is Katrina starrer ‘Merry Christmas’. While Yodha also stars Disha Patani in the lead role, Merry Christmas stars Vijay Sethupathi.

‘Ganapath Part One’ and ‘Leo’

In what can be called the battle between north and south, Tiger Shroff’s next ‘Ganapath: Part One’ is all set to clash with Thalapathy Vijay starrer ‘Leo’ at the box office. Both actors have a humongous and loyal fan base among Indian viewers. Both movies are projected as pan-India films, to release in all five popular languages of Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. It will also be a face off for the Sanon sisters as Ganapath stars Kriti Sanon in the lead and Leo stars her sister Nupur Sanon.

‘Singham Again’ and ‘Pushpa 2’

Keeping up with the north and south battle, Ajay Devgn’s ‘Singham Again’ is all set to take on Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ as both the films are all set to release on August 15, 2024. Both films share a common audience, unlike ‘Salaar’ and ‘Dunki,’ which cater to different viewer demographics. It appears that neither film’s production team is willing to change their release date. This situation poses a challenge for Indian exhibitors. ‘Pushpa 2’ is undeniably one of the most highly anticipated Indian films, while ‘Singham Again’ promises to be a star-studded action extravaganza from the very beginning.
