We’re launching a podcast about how to have a better relationship with your pet.

Whether you are a pet guardian or a pet pro, we think you will enjoy it. You can look forward to the podcast having the same values that you associate with Companion Animal Psychology: a focus on reward-based training methods, as well as the importance of management and enrichment for helping our pets live happier lives. Plus, of course, it will be fun.

Some episodes will be the two of us sharing tips on dog and cat behaviour and training, while others will have special guests including authors, dog trainers, cat behaviourists, and scientists.

At the end of each episode we’ll chat about the books we’re reading.

If the format sounds familiar, it’s because we’ve decided to turn The Pawsitive Post in Conversation into a podcast. Maybe you have seen episodes of The Pawsitive Post in Conversation on Youtube? The podcast will give you the opportunity to listen to those episodes via iTunes or your favourite podcast app. And we have new episodes too.

We’ll be launching soon so watch this space to find out when the podcast is available–even better, subscribe to my email list to get an email when it goes live.

We’re tickled pink about this and hope you are too.

Kristi Benson is an honours graduate
of the prestigious Academy for Dog Trainers, where she earned her
Certificate in Training and Counseling (CTC). She also has gained her
PCBC-A credential from the Pet Professional Accreditation Board. She has

continue to help dog guardians through online teaching and
consultations. Kristi is on staff at the Academy for Dog Trainers,
helping to shape the next generation of canine professionals. Kristi’s
dogs are rescue sled dogs, mostly retired and thoroughly enjoying a good
snooze in front of the woodstove.
