MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. – A child was airlifted to the hospital Monday morning after he or she was bitten by some type of animal in a northwest Miami-Dade neighborhood, authorities confirmed.
It happened near a home along the 5400 block of Northwest 184th Street.
Sky 10 flew over the home around 10:15 a.m. where the child was being transported from a Miami-Dade Fire Rescue truck to a helicopter.
An adult who was believed to be related to the child was seen walking with a medical crew to the helicopter.
Authorities have not released the child’s age, gender or condition nor have they said what type of animal was involved in the attack.
