RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — Richmond Animal League (RAL) hosted its first-ever rescue roundup on Saturday to help find homes for furry friends in need.

On Saturday, July 20, RAL hosted its rescue roundup at the lawn next to the organization’s shelter, located at 11401 International Drive in Richmond, which featured dogs available for adoption.


Allana Maiden, development and communications coordinator at RAL, said about 15 to 20 dogs were available for adoption from RAL’s animal control partners at the event, not including those available at RAL’s shelter.
