FAIRFIELD, CT — Greenfield Animal Hospital will move from its current Fairfield site at 212 Hillside Road to a new location down the road, following an approval last week by the Town Plan and Zoning Commission.
The Fairfield Citizen reported that the animal hospital was approved to build a new, 6,289-square-foot facility on property at 40 Hillside Road. A church is currently on the site.
Last year, the proposal was turned down by the commission over the overall size of the structure on the 1 acre property.
In the interim, the animal hospital’s owners reportedly worked with neighbors to scale down the size of the building, and reduce the number of parking spaces.
