You may have heard, my new book Bark! The Science of Helping Your Anxious, Fearful, or Reactive Dog will be out on October 1st in Canada, the US, Australia and New Zealand, and on 17th October in the UK.
I am so excited to be this close to sharing the book with you. I wrote it for everyone with a fearful or anxious dog, and especially for all of the rescue dogs I’ve worked or volunteered with. The book is full of practical tips, backed up by science, with stories of my pets too.
I will be having a book launch here in Maple Ridge, BC, and you are invited! It will be at Black Bond Books in the Valley Fair Mall, Maple Ridge, on Saturday October 5th from 12 until 2pm. The answer is that wherever is best for you is good, but it’s always a great idea to support your local independent bookstore. If there isn’t a bookstore near you, those Bookshop links will support bookstores across the US and UK, respectively. Independent bookstores do so much to support authors, and in particular my local indie, Black Bond Books, has been incredibly supportive of me.
