Animal Park to go on floors in 2026?
With the trajectory that Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal has had, we are sure that the film is not fading from pop culture conversations until the sequel hits the shores a couple of years later. And then the sequel will take over that space. Animal Park was announced with the first film itself, with the announcement of the sequel being treated like a post-credit scene. So now, while it’s confirmed news that Kapoor and the team are indeed returning for a second round, the biggest question Sandeep Reddy Vanga is getting when he’s not defending his product is: when does the sequel go on floors?
It turns out the filmmaker has now decided to reveal the same and end the mystery surrounding the shooting commencement day. The filmmaker has spoken about the same and teased fans about what to expect from the sequel that has become much anticipated. Below is everything you need to know if this is exciting news for you.
Animal Park To Go On Floors In 2026?
If the reports doing the rounds on the internet are to be believed, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the director of Animal, who is now working on the sequel to the movie titled Animal Park, attended an award function. Considering that Ranbir Kapoor is now shooting for Ramayana and will continue to for a while, he has dedicated the year to the Nitesh Tiwari project. He next has Love & War with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, which also stars his wife Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in pivotal roles. There were reports that the film will go on floors in 2025, and the actors have dedicated an entire year to the Bhansali magnum opus. It seems like Ranbir will then get on board Animal Park. The fact that the sequel will go on floors in 2026 means it will not hit screens before 2027. The wait for fans of the actor, director, and franchise will have to be very long.

What Is Animal Park About?
Animal Park takes the story ahead from Animal, where we saw a clone of Ranvijay being prepared by Bobby Deol’s character before he died. The ruthless clone will go against Ranvijay, as they will lock horns. The first part also teased how Anil Kapoor’s character is fighting a life-threatening disease. The movie will also continue that trajectory and even explore Ranvijay’s relationship with his wife, Geetanjali, and his son. The movie will have a very wide canvas.
