Our Down with Duck Farming campaign has hit the ground running! We launched our brand-new campaign video, narrated by Evanna Lynch, and this week we have been celebrating ducks. We have collaborated with sanctuaries and many of our wonderful supporters have shared videos and stories of their duck companions or experiences with our feathered friends. We’ve even had a Parliamentary Question answered by the Minister of State at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, Victoria Prentis MP.

Featuring in Birmingham, Reading, Derby, Wolverhampton and Nottingham, over HALF A MILLION people will see this vegan messaging on our billboards! A huge part of our Down with Duck Farming campaign is how duck farming violates the rights of ducks as well as breaching even the most basic ‘protections’ afforded to them under the Animal Welfare Act 2006. Welfare laws will never protect ducks but if they aren’t being upheld, why are they there in the first place?

The Parliamentary Question answered by Victoria Prentis MP highlighted that the government is fully aware of the breaches in legislation, but is unwilling to act.

Therefore, we must take action to show the public the tragic reality for ducks on farms and inside slaughterhouses and why we must choose to end this industry together. Thanks to your help, our billboards are doing just that! Your donations have funded this stunning advertising campaign allowing our message of compassion to reach hundreds of thousands of consumers.

A special ‘thank you’ to Vegan Action for Animals for visiting our billboard in Reading!

As always,

For the animals.
