FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Haven for Animals — a no-kill, nonprofit animal shelter — is teaming up with Bay Area Events — the organization that presents the Bay Area Monthly Markets — to bring adoptable dogs and puppies into the community, according to a press release.

“I’m excited to work with The Haven, to offer an opportunity to showcase the tremendous good that The Haven offers the community, especially to the furry members. The Haven works fervently to aid animals in our community and truly excels at reaching the public to raise awareness of animal welfare,” emphasized BAE’s founder, Amanda Spann.

Starting at the next event, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 27, The Haven for Animals will bring adoptable dogs to the market. In addition to dogs, the nonprofit will also be providing information about pet services.

“With Amanda’s support, we’re able to reach more potential adopters and raise awareness about the importance of spaying/neutering of pets, pet adoption and more,” said Haven’s Executive Director, Michael Graham.

Prospective adopters are encouraged to visit the Haven’s website to view the profiles of available dogs and cats and to complete the adoption application. The shelter says they will “promptly review applications, ensuring a smooth and happy adoption process.”
