Sanjay Gupta watches Ranbir Kapoor’s movie for the second time; says, ‘Every scene has…’

Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga is still buzzing. Sanjay Gupta took to his social media account to share his review for the second time.

Animal movie starring Ranbir Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol received mixed reactions. While some were completely thrilled to witness Ranbir Kapoor’s action avatar in Sandeep Reddy Vanga directorial, the movie received criticism for its highly violent content. Ranbir Kapoor’s character Ranvijay was accused of being misogynist. Despite all of it, Animal became one of the highest grossing films of the year 2023 and Ranbir Kapoor’s career. Animal Part 2 titled as Animal Park is on its way. But before that Sanjay Gupta has shared his review of Animal for the second time. The Zinda filmmaker Sanjay Gupta took to Twitter to share that he watched Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal for the second time and he only had good things to say about the film. We wrote that he liked Animal more way more than he liked it for the first time. He praised Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s direction and Ranbir Kapoor’s performance too! He wrote that every scene was dealt to the extreme and there was so much hard work and perseverance.

Earlier, Sanjay Gupta defended Animal when Javed Akhtar’s comments criticising the film went viral. Sanjay Gupta in an interview with Siddharth Kannan stated that Javed Akhtar isn’t willing to accept that the society has changed and it is unfair to blame a movie for societal issues.

Talking about Animal Park, it is expected that the film will be more extreme than Animal. Possibly, Ranbir Kapoor would play a dual role in the film as per the hint dropped in by the climax sequence of Animal. One wonders if Bobby Deol is a part of Animal Park or not as his character Abrar died in Animal. Rashmika Mandanna will return as Geetanjali. But there is long time for Animal Park as Sandeep Reddy Vanga will begin work on the same after Spirit.
