In an interview with Filmygyan, Siddhanth was asked if he has a crush on anyone and the actor named Triptii Dimri.

When further asked if he’s interested in dating her, he replied, “I would love to” and went on to add, “This is no controversy as it is now out in the open. I would love to take her out for coffee and would gladly cover the bill as well”.

The actor further seemed quite optimistic about the possibility of having a future with Triptii as he praised himself stating, “Mai aur bhi khush hounga, usse bhi zyada woh khush hogi (because) I am a great guy” (I will be even happier, and she will be happier too because I am a great guy).”

He also revealed the reason behind the attraction and said, “I am in love with her exceptional talent even though we do not know each other well yet.”

Earlier, Siddhant had reacted to the controversial “lick my show” scene from the film involving Ranbir Kapoor and Triptii Dimri.

He had told Bollywood Hungama, “It was unsettling, but I also felt, ‘Wow what a choice for a character and a very courageous choice to make for the director.’ At the end of the day, Sandeep sir is getting the flak. That’s when he turned an anti-hero to me from a hero. That’s what portrayed the man’s psycho-ness. That he is good but he also has these deep dark traits. That was a very fine line for Vijay to turn villain, it is not easy to tread on. I felt damn unsettled with that scene. But now when I think about, it was also so good, it makes you react.”

Released in December 2023, Animal opened to extreme responses from critics andmade Rs 917.82 crore at the worldwide box office.
