Peoria County Animal Services in need of adopters


PEORIA (25News Now) -The Peoria County Animal Protection Services, also known as PCAPS, is in immediate need of adopters.

Their location at 2600 NE Perry Ave. is currently providing shelter for nearly 200 animals with limited space.

They are offering fee-waived adoptions for a limited time only, in an effort to find adopters as soon as possible.

There is a variety of dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs and lizards in various ages, sizes and colors available.

The fee waived adoption promotion started Saturday, June 1st, and ends Friday, June 7th.

A complete application must be submitted for approval to adopt, with adoptions being approved the same day.

Adopters can walk in to meet any of the animals during adoption hours, which is Monday-Saturday from noon to 5pm.
