“We take the health of the animals we care for very seriously, and we are taking all the necessary steps to contain the virus and treat the animals that may be exposed or infected,” Crestview public information officer, Chance Leavins said in a statement.
The City of Crestview will continue to provide animal control services, which can be reported at 850-682-2055. Questions about services may be emailed to animalservices@cityofcrestview.org.
Please keep your pets up to date on all vaccinations, and if you suspect your pet may have symptoms of Parvovirus, please contact your veterinarian immediately.
