Kris Donald “Animal” Zeier, 65, of Kalispell, passed away Nov. 1, 2022.
He was born May 11, 1957, in Anaconda to Roberta Barnhart (Mitchell) and Donald Zeier.
Kris was an outdoorsman. He loved fishing, hunting and camping. Kris was also a collector of guns. He had a passion for the baseball and softball diamond, where he umpired for many years throughout the valley. Kris was a man of faith.
Kris is survived by his mother, Roberta Barnhart; stepmother Eufemia Zeier; brother, Scott Zeier (Vickie); stepsisters, Gayle Barnhart Reeves and Vicki Barnhart Eggen (Roger); numerous nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and -nephews; and numerous cousins.
In addition to his father, Kris was preceded in death by stepfather, Oren Barnhart; stepsister, Verlaine Barnhart VanAtta; maternal grandparents, Robert and Berta Mitchell; and paternal grandparents, Ed and Fran Zeier.
A celebration of Kris Donald “Animal” Zeier’s life will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, at Journey Church, 5091 U.S. 2, Columbia Falls, MT 59912. Inurnment to follow services at Woodlawn Cemetery, 2200 9th Street West, Columbia Falls, MT 59912.
