As part of NBC10’s Clear the Shelters nationwide campaign, Humane Animal Partners, a statewide animal welfare organization with adoption centers in Rehoboth Beach, Wilmington and Stanton/Christiana, will offer $25 adoption fees for all cats, dogs, kittens and puppies through Thursday, Aug. 31.
Those interested in adopting can browse all available cats and dogs at humaneanimalpartners.org or visit the Cape Region HAP adoption center at at 18675 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach. HAP’s experienced adoption counselors work one on one with adopters to ensure the best match possible for pets and humans alike.
“Adoptions have slowed down over this past summer, and as a result, we have hundreds of animals in our care, some of which have been waiting for months,” said Patrick Carroll, HAP CEO. “We encourage folks to consider opening their hearts and homes to adopting a pet with Humane Animal Partners.”
All Humane Animal Partners adoptable animals are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccines and preventatives, tested for heartworm, microchipped, dewormed and examined by a veterinarian prior to adoption.
