Donate toward Island Animal Haven Sanctuary’s animal care through Fair Giving
Submitted by Island Animal Haven Sanctuary.
Venus, our 32-year-old Icelandic horse (pictured at right), needs dental work and blood tests done before winter. Rayon and Oreo, our seven-year-old goats, require Adequan injections to manage their arthritis and joint pain. Madonna, our 37-year-old American Curly horse, has recurring bladder stones and needs antibiotics. Tallulah, our 25-year-old Shetland Pony has Cushing’s Disease and arthritis and her medications cost $6 per day… these are just some of our senior sanctuary animals that require specialized veterinary care and medication to keep them comfortable and healthy in their retirement at Island Haven Animal Sanctuary.
We are honored to have been selected by the San Juan Island Community Foundation to be part of their 2023 County Fair Giving Campaign. During the fair, Aug, 16-19, the first $1,000 raised will be matched by SJICF, and, a generous donor has also pledged to match $1,000, so every dollar you donate immediately becomes three dollars! The Catalog opens online Aug. 16 and we have four days to make our $5,000 goal, which will go directly towards veterinary visits and medications for our senior sanctuary animals. Please join us in providing the very best care for these deserving animals.
