Advocacy goes digital with Animal Equality’s Live Action Hour

Earlier this week, animal advocates gathered for Animal Equality’s first Live Action Hour. Hosted by its Campaigns team, this Live Action Hour provided an opportunity for advocates to send emails to corporate leaders, write negative reviews for corporations engaging in animal cruelty, and send emails to Congress to oppose the EATS Act.

This Action Hour was held amidst Animal Equality’s campaign against extreme confinement in Denny’s supply chain. Since its launch, the campaign has resulted in over a dozen nationwide protests and over 53,000 messages to leadership from concerned consumers, each calling on the diner chain to remove small, metal cages for mother pigs from its supply chain.
