The biggest night of Indian cinema unfolded with much enthusiasm and zeal. On Saturday, (Sept 28), the second night of the International Indian Film Academy Award took place in Abu Dhabi with none other than Badshah of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan taking up the hosting duties.
Khan and his co-hosts Vicky Kaushal and Karan Johar made the audience laugh hard, groove on their fun acts, and dance to hits like Jhoome Jo Pathan and Chaleya.
Much like every year, this time also scores of Indian celebrities including Hema Malini, Rekha, Bobby Deol, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Vicky Kaushal, Shahid Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, among many in attendance.
On Day 2, the awards were also handed out to the deserving nominees. Khan, who made a rocking comeback in 2023 and delivered three back-to-back hits, took home the Best Actor trophy for his role in Atlee’s action thriller Jawan. Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor won the coveted Best Film award.
