Gajapati: Mystery shrouded after as many as 60 goats were found dead and 28 grievously wounded at Kidi village under Kashinagar block in Gajapati district.
According to reports, the matter came to the fore after villagers spotted the carcasses and informed the local police and veterinary officials about the same.
While the exact reason behind the incident is yet to be established, villagers suspect the goats were attacked by unidentified wild animals.
On being informed, the officials reached the sport and initiated an investigation to ascertain the exact reason behind the death of cattle.
